St. Luke’s will be hosting the Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent at 6:30 pm. 
At most Catholic churches, the Stations of the Cross in use are those composed by the great St. Alphonsus Liguori. At St. Luke’s, we will be using the Stations as compiled by one of the earliest Pastoral Provision [a precursor to the Ordinariate] priests, the great scholar Fr. W.T. St.John Brown. While an Episcopal priest, Fr. Brown was invited by both Pope Paul VI and Pope St. John Paul II to visit Rome during the study by the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith as to how to admit into the Roman Catholic priesthood Anglican priests crossing the Tiber. Fr. Brown, in his ministry as a Catholic priest in Corpus Christi, Texas, compiled these Stations which use passages of Scripture interspersed with liturgical prayer to contemplate the last hours of Our Lord.
