Sunday, October 9^th marks the fifth anniversary of the entrance of St. Luke’s into the Catholic Church. Our bishop, the Most Reverend Steven J. Lopes, is coming to St. Luke’s to help us mark this anniversary as Catholics and, as a further sign of God’s grace, to confirm five adults who have been exploring the Catholic faith with Father Mark Lewis.

In keeping with that spirit of coming home, we are hoping to make October 9^th a homecoming for all St. Luke’s parishioners, past and present.  For all of us, it will be an opportunity to rejoice in our journey, see old friends, and, if we haven’t already, to meet Bishop Lopes at a potluck brunch immediately after Mass. And we’ll also begin our annual parish novena on October 9^th, which ends on the feast of our patron, St. Luke.

So join us on Sunday, October 9th, at 8:30 am for Mass with Reception and Confirmation. And join us afterwards in the school to greet our bishop, our newest members, and old friends.
