Adult Religious Education for the 2023-2024 schoolyear will begin October 1 with the Institute of Catholic Culture's class on "Scripture 101: Introduction to the Old Testament," a prerecorded program led by Fr. Hezekias Carnazzo, combined with live discussion among those attending in person. In this course, we will survey the historical, wisdom, and prophetical books of the Old Testament as a preparation for the New Testament Era and will learn the revelatory stages of salvation history, the importance of Biblical typology, and the function of fulfilled prophecy. Class will meet in the library behind the stage in St. Ignatius School auditorium (Campion Hall), at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings (subject to breaks for holidays).
